We disagree in this case. It’s true that’s too early for
children from elementaruy school o learn foreign language and still don’t
understand Indonesian language. But, in my opinion, if don’t applied early. How
if they will enter junior high school? In junior high school isn’t English
lesson? Do they should be familiar with the vocabulary from the beginning? We
think it was more difficult than they had known since elementary school. Our
opinion, we ask that English lesson were not removed in elementary education.
The way is the teacher must balance between Indonesian language with other
foreign language. So that children able to master it.
